1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mera School ("the Service"), operated by Lyca Technologies Private Limited ("the Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including school administrators, teachers, and any other authorized personnel.
2. Description of Service
Mera School is a cloud-based school management system that provides tools for fee management, attendance tracking, exam management, parent communication, analytics, and related educational administration functions. The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Features and availability may vary by plan.
3. Account Registration
To use Mera School, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for: - Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials - All activities that occur under your account - Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use You may not share your account credentials with unauthorized persons.
4. Subscription & Payment
Mera School is a paid subscription service billed monthly or annually in PKR. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - Use the Service for any unlawful purpose - Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the system - Access other schools' data without authorization - Resell or sublicense access to the Service - Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications - Violate the privacy of students, parents, or staff Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you input into Mera School. We do not claim ownership of your school's data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Service Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
All software, code, design, logos, and content of Mera School are the intellectual property of Lyca Technologies Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lyca Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access ends at the conclusion of the paid period. Your data will be available for export for 90 days post-termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
